Zappeo privacy policy

Effective October 28, 2026.

In short

• Zappeo has no account, does not measure your usage and shows no ads.
• What you add and what you choose stays on your devices and in your own iCloud.
• Agentiapp never sees your credentials, your channels or what you watch.

On your devices

The sources you add (server address, username, password, playlist link or file) are kept in the device's keychain. If iCloud Keychain is on, Apple syncs them, encrypted, across your devices.

Zappeo downloads your channels and the program guide straight from your provider's addresses, never through Agentiapp. It keeps on the device your channels, your favorites, your settings and playback measurements (starts, dropouts, picture quality) that help it pick the best source.

To find a TV box or tuner, Zappeo looks on your local network, if you allow it. Nothing from this search leaves your network.

In your iCloud

If iCloud is on, Zappeo syncs your favorites, hidden channels, corrections, country and source choices, settings and a summary of your sources' stability in the private iCloud database of your Apple Account. Only your account can access it: Agentiapp cannot read it. No server address, username or password is stored there.

Setting up with a QR code

When you set up an Apple TV from your phone, the page zappeo.agentiapp.com/tv encrypts your source on the phone, with a key only your Apple TV can open. Our relay only passes this encrypted message on and cannot read it. It deletes it as soon as the Apple TV has received it, and after 10 minutes at the latest.

To prevent abuse, the relay counts the requests of each IP address without keeping the address: it only keeps a fingerprint of it, which changes every day and is deleted after an hour without requests. It also keeps daily totals (setups, messages, errors), with nothing that identifies you, for 90 days.

What you choose to share

On iPhone, iPad and Mac, Help > "Share My Channel Names to Improve Grouping" prepares the list of your playlist's channel names, to help us group them better. Only the names go: no address, no credentials. Nothing leaves without your gesture: you pick the app and the recipient in the share sheet.

What we never do

• No usage statistics, no trackers, no ads.
• No selling or sharing of your data.
• No access to your credentials, your channels or what you watch.

If you agreed, in your device's settings, to share analytics with app developers, Apple sends us crash reports that do not identify you.

This site

zappeo.agentiapp.com sets no cookie and does not measure its audience. Cloudflare, its host, processes the technical data needed to send you the pages, such as your IP address. We keep no log of visits.

If you email us, we keep your message for as long as it takes to handle your request.

Your choices and rights

Almost everything is in your hands. Deleting Zappeo erases what it keeps on the device. What it keeps in iCloud can be erased in the iCloud storage settings of your Apple Account.
